I'm glad you're here.

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by what others overlook. Not because I enjoy finding fault, but because I believe our most consequential decisions are often shaped by what we fail to see.

Whether in business or in life, clarity rarely arrives by accident. It comes from slowing down long enough to observe, discern, and ask better questions.

That belief has shaped my life, my leadership, and my writing.

See. Discern. Endure.

These are more than three words. They are the lens through which I understand the world.

This website is where I share essays, reflections, observations, and stories drawn from my experiences and years of observing leaders, organizations, and the human condition. Whatever the subject, they all pursue the same purpose: helping us see more clearly so we can live and lead more wisely.

I've never been interested in telling people what to think. I'd much rather help them see something they hadn't considered before.

I've come to believe that the quality of our lives is shaped by the quality of our decisions, and the quality of our decisions is shaped by what we choose(or fail) to see.

Professionally, I serve as Founder and CEO of The P3 Group, where I've spent decades helping founder-led organizations navigate growth, complexity, succession, and the decisions that shape what endures. Along the way, I've learned that lasting success requires more than strategy. It requires discernment, wise stewardship, and the courage to make difficult decisions in service of a greater future.

Long before I led organizations, however, I was writing.

Writing has been my companion since I was twelve years old. It has always been where questions become clearer than answers, ideas are refined, and perspective begins to take shape. When life becomes noisy, writing remains a quiet place of reflection that continues to challenge me as much as it comforts me.

Personally, I'm more reserved than people often expect. I value quiet mornings, meaningful conversations, time with family, learning, nature, movement, and the simple satisfaction of growing things. While I'm comfortable leading through complexity or standing before an audience, I draw energy from reflection. Some of life's deepest insights are found in stillness, not noise.

I've never fit neatly into categories. I'm analytical yet deeply curious about people, comfortable challenging assumptions while remaining willing to challenge my own. Serious about the work, but never about myself.

When I'm not leading P3, you'll usually find me learning something new, spending time with family, cooking, moving my body, tending to something that's growing...or writing.

Always writing.
